Processing a Request

The "Request tab" in the left panel displays a form showing the details of the request as well as the transaction history for the case.

To resolve a request and begin processing the edit/relocation, click the “RESOLVE” button

If at any point while the request is not clear or cannot be adequately resolved, the editor can reject the request by clicking the “REJECT” button

To exit the request form without taking action to resolve or reject the request, click the “CLOSE” button (Note: the request will remain in the DOT Queue as an active/outstanding request)

Resolving a Request

The request type (Edit vs Relocate) will drive the operation required

Once the user clicks the “RESOLVE” button, the user is taken to one of two tabs:

The Location form is displayed when the request type is “Relocate”

The Edit form is displayed when the request type is “Edit”

The user then continues with the relocation or edit as usual

When a candidate is accepted (relocation) or the edit form is saved (edit), a confirmation dialog is displayed

To complete the operation, enter an optional comment and click the “RESOLVE” button. This will complete the relocation/edit and store the resolution comment with the request, and update the request status to “Resolved”

To cancel the resolution, click the “CANCEL” button (Note: Canceling at this dialog will cancel the Save/Accept and return the user to the previous step)
