Searching on a Case Number
This search method allows the user to finds a crash based on a specified case number
To search for a specified case number:
•From the Home tab within the form panel, click the "Search for a Crash" accordion panel (if not shown)
•Enter a Case Number into the textbox provided and click the Find button
•If the Case Number exists, the data for the specified crash is displayed in the Search Results grid
Note for Commercial and SafetyNet Users
•Commercial and SafetyNet Users will have a slightly different dialog as shown below which includes a Query Level switch.
•The Query level switch allows the user to choose a Vehicle level or Crash level search/query (Vehicle Level is the default for these user roles)
•Vehicle level query (default) will return one row per vehicle for the crash (with vehicle details), while a Crash level query will return a single row with crash level details
•Only Vehicle level queries will enable the “Add to Commercial Queue”/”Add to SafetyNet Queue” buttons
•It is important to note that the Search Results grid is slightly different for both Commercial processing roles, please refer to the notes at the bottom of the following help topic
