Loading a Case List


Crashes can be loaded into the search results grid from an existing case list file (.csv)

 

 

From the Home tab within the form panel, click the "Load a Case List" accordion panel (if not shown)

Click the LOAD button

Select a properly-formatted .csv file in the file selection dialog

Crash data for each case number is displayed in the Search Results grid

 

Notes: Click the “Launch CDV” button (if needed) to use CDV to build a new case list based on a query

 

 

Viewing Search Results

The results of a loading a Case List are presented in the 'Search Results' grid in the bottom-right of the screen. For more information on the Search Results grid review this related help  topic.

 

Note for Commercial and SafetyNet Users

Commercial and SafetyNet Users will have a slightly different dialog as shown below which includes a Query Level switch.

 

 

The Query level switch allows the user to choose a Vehicle level or Crash level search/query (Vehicle Level is the default for these user roles)

Vehicle level query (default) will return one row per vehicle for the crash (with vehicle details), while a Crash level query will return a single row with crash level details

Only Vehicle level queries will enable the “Add to Commercial Queue”/”Add to SafetyNet Queue” buttons
