Editing a Rejected Vehicle

Vehicles that are marked as “Rejected” will need to be edited to resolve the issue that prevented them from being uploaded to SafetyNet. Once the data issue is edited and resolved, another attempt can be made to upload the records to SafetyNet.

•Click the Edit (pencil) icon for the vehicle to be edited

•A confirmation dialog is displayed indicating that you are about to edit a “Rejected” vehicle and that the status will be changed to “Pending Review”

•Click “Continue” on the confirmation dialog

•The status is changed to Pending Review (grid is updated with new status), and the SafetyNet Crash Edit form is displayed allowing the user to edit the data and correct the error/issue

•Once the issue is corrected the vehicle record can go back through the workflow and ultimately uploaded to SafetyNet in a future XML file
