SafetyNet User Workflows and Functions
The SafetyNet User role represents DOT staff who perform the full and final processing of crashes involving commercial vehicles, ultimately uploading the data to the SafetyNet system. This section will focus on the workflows and functionality that are available to users with the "SafetyNet user" role/privileges.
The image below provides an overview of the default application layout for a user with the SafetyNet user role.
The SafetyNet queue is the default queue that is visible within the grid panels on the right. Additionally, a series of statistics and graphs are displayed on the Home panel on the left side that provides guidance on the number of cases/vehicles that are at the various stages of processing, as well as how many have been successfully uploaded to SafetyNet. The graph can be filtered by week, month or year. The infographics on the left panel can be used to apply filters to the SafetyNet queue showing only those vehicles/records at the selected/filtered status. The CLEAR FILTERS button can be clicked on the left panel to remove all filters applied using the infographic buttons.

The image below provides a details overview of the SafetyNet user workflow as well as a summary of the five (5) status' that a record in the SafetyNet queue goes through in the workflow from an initial status of "Pending Review" to a final status of "Uploaded" when it is successfully uploaded to the SafetyNet system.

SafetyNet Queue Column Groupings
The SafetyNet queue records contain a vast amount of data within a single row. As such, there are 4 groups of columns for each vehicle in the SafetyNet Queue, each is illustrated in the images below. From left to right the groupings are as follows:
•Queue Details - Core crash details and status
•Commercial Vehicle Details - Core commercial vehicle details from the CLEAR database
•Commercial Vehicle Update Details - "Updated" version/copy of the commercial vehicle details
•Process Details - Upload Processing details/status
