Reports

CDV contains the ability to generate pre-formatted reports. These reports are NOT based on any query results. Rather they are a pre-defined and formatted report on crash data, that can be executed from within CDV. When generated, the report will prompt the user for a few minor parameters at run time such as date range or crash type that will be used to generate the formatted tabular output.

To generate reports, click the Reports>Report Categories menu from the sidebar navigation menu. A list of report categories is displayed as shown in the graphic below.

The user can then select a category by clicking the desired link, which will display a landing page listing all the reports available within that category . Each report available within the selected category is shown in the application content panel with the title (displayed as a hyper link), and a basic description. To generate a report, click the title link, which will generate the selected report in a new browser tab.

Note: The user will typically be prompted in the new browser tab for one or more parameters (e.g., date range) on which the report will be based.
