Executing the Query

To execute the query, the user clicks the Execute button in the lower right corner of the panel.

This will run the query, selecting those crashes where:

•the crash location falls within at least one area of interest (Step 2), and;

•the crash characteristics meet ALL of the criteria specified in Steps 1 and 3

•Resulting crashes are displayed on the map and the corresponding crash records are displayed in the grid

•Number of records returned are based on the query level: crash, vehicle or person defined in Step 1

•The columns in the grid are based on the result fields selected in Step 1

Notes:

•Map is zoomed to the extent of all result crashes

•When zoomed out, crash locations will be “clustered” with counts
